Jia Chai
Jia Chai is a PhD candidate at University of York and has received commissions and performances including the Diotima and Kreutzer string quartets; The Irish Summer School, Chimera ensemble and YOCOCO ensemble
Sean Clancy
Dublin born composer Seán Clancy’s (b. 1984) music has been described as ‘exploring the tensions between found and original material, narrative and rupture, elite and vernacular values, and between innovation and intervention’ (Journal of Music). He is currently composer in association with Workers Union Ensemble and was an artist in residence at the Moog Soundlab in 2015
Monika Dalach
Monika Dalach is currently working towards MMus composition at Academy of Music in Lodz and Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with Dr Richard Baker. Her compositional interests include the connection between Classical Music, Contemporary Art, Literature, New Media and the Visual Arts
Camilo Mendez
Camilo Mendez has completed a DMus and a MMus in composition under the supervision of Dr Jonathan Cole, Dr Alison Kay and William Mival at the Royal College of Music. His work is characterised by the composition of musical cycles based on texts and extra-musical stimuli
Nick Morrish Rarity
Nick is a composer, and doctoral candidate at the Royal College of Music, where he is supported by the Douglas & Hilda Symonds Award, and is supervised by Jonathan Cole, Simon Holt and Gilbert Nuono. Nick was a winner of the 2014 Royal Philharmonic Society Composition Prize and he is a member of Sound and Music’s Portfolio Scheme
